Teen escapes through ceiling of Hall

Authorities, including the Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals, were still looking for Bell Tuesday evening. It was reported that he was last seen near Quail Hollow Apartments in the Poplar Hills area, Hancock said.

He was arrested Monday on robbery and cocaine-trafficking charges. But Hancock said that when deputies when put Bell in the holding cell, they weren't aware of those charges, nor his previous arrests for first-degree fleeing, evading police and second-degree escape charges.

She said corrections officials should have notified deputies that Bell had a history of running from police and was a security risk.
